Kirsty Halliday has worked in the field of environmental management with SCA for 13 years, both in Europe and the Americas. She has worked directly on a wide variety of environmental issues such as ISO14001, LEED, Climate Change, Energy Management, Producer Responsibility, Waste Management, Environmental Reporting, Wood Sourcing, Product Certifications and various issues raised by EU and US regulations.
SCA, a global paper & hygiene products company, recognized as being one of the greenest and most ethical companies in the world, has their American headquarters located in the Cira Centre in Philadelphia. Kirsty has recently taken on the challenge of representing SCA’s social responsibility and community relations initiatives in the Greater Philadelphia area. A British citizen, Kirsty relocated to Philadelphia in 2004. She was recently awarded the accolade of being one of Philadelphia’s 101 Emerging Connectors and most recently helped SCA’s Headquarters win the ‘2008 Livable Building Award’ for their LEED gold certified office.
